This time we’re bringing the Rock to you in Two Doses. First, We’re gonna be down at The Hard Rock Cafe located in the Hard Rock Hotel in Biloxi, MS on Wednesday, August 27th. For those of you who keep making excuses like “It’s too far…” or “It’s in the middle of the week…”, just let me ask you this: when was the last time you let something like distance or date keep you from having a hell of a time? Just ask the HDTFaithful that have made the trip. It’s always a party, and since summer is quickly drawing to a close, you might wanna squeeze in just a little more fun… I’m Just saying:)

But hey, we know gas prices are outrageous, and even though it’s hard for me to believe, some folks have real jobs that require them to show up and do stuff on a weekday. So we’ve put together a little something else for you that week. HDT will be out at Chestnut Station in Gadsden, AL on Saturday night, August 30th. That’s a little closer to home, AND it’s a weekend night… see we can reach a compromise here.

Either way, it’s a sure bet you’ll have a good time. Don’t believe me, then come see for yourself;)

Hey Folks, just a reminder that HDT will be out at Cafe Firenze’ in Bham this Thursday Night (the 7th). Now I know, I know… everyone has to work Friday morning. But Seriously, come on now. When was the last time you threw caution to the wind and just went out and partied on a weeknight? I mean, It is the summer. Do you really want to just let Summer ‘08 sneak on by without one single irresponsible adventure?

Well, how about we sweeten the pot? Just a little FYI, not only has HalfDown Thomas been playing new versions of the songs from our upcoming release, but last show at The Nick, we debuted a tune so new, so fresh that it hadn’t even been named before the day of the show!!! (Who knew Randy’s procrastination could be a selling point:)… and rumor has it, we’ll be doing it again.

And don’t forget, there’s new HDT shirts, a new 3 song sampler CD, and of course a night of music and fun that can only be described as ROCK!!!

HalfDown Thomas is bringing the rock to Cafe Firenze’ in Birmingham, and by the rock, we mean the face melting, soul scorching love like only HDT does it !!! Come on out, enjoy a couple of drinks, a couple of tunes and just watch the work week slip away.

Check it out!!! HalfDown Thomas is heading out for a 2 day east coast extrvaganza this weekend… First, on Friday the 18th we return to The Rock Shop in Fayetteville, NC to bring another dose of the HDTLove to one of the coolest clubs we’ve encountered out there on the open road.
The Rock Shop shows HDT much love, and we’re gonna return the favor in style ( and pic up George’s missing bass while we’re there;)

Then, on Saturday Night the 19th, we’re gonna be making our way down to the Red Lion Pub in Augusta, Ga. This club looks awesome and comes highly recommended from our good friend Brant, and if anybody knows where a party might be had, it’s ole Benefield;) Lookin forward to this one, Augusta is a new stop for the HDT Boys, should be a night to remember.

Also, remember to swing by and check out the new tour dates freshly added for our Spring tour kicking off in Indanapolis on May 1st, and new hometown gigs fresh off the presses. And don’t forget, we have new pics up on the MySpace and new merch on it’s way… All in all, spring is looking busy and fun ’round here, so don’t miss out!!!

Well, we’re home, and we made it. Despite Wes, Randy and I all having the flu, and Marks inability to saty on his drum throne, we rocked pretty hard if I do say so myself;)

Wed night at the Hard Rock Cafe Biloxi was a blast as always. Every time we play there it just gets better and better. I mean it is a place dedicated to all things rock, and it would be a lie to say the HDT Boys didn’t cary a soft spot for the hard working Hard Rock waitresses… Now if I could just stop pumping money into those damn slot machines at 3 a.m. ( seriously, I almost won 200 grand… “Later bitches, I’mma buy me an island and just fade away!!!” lol)

The three night’s at Thunder’s were pretty much a full time party. Nothing like “over the counter” cold medicine ( and some “over the bar” meds in brown longneck bottles too:) to bring the party around. Thanks to everyone that came out, especially the return of “Table 8″, The folks that traveled from all corners of the south ( I mean, folks from Cullman driving down to catch the show? That’s what I call ROCK!!!), and of course Celeste for providing the softest “notepads” I’ve ever scrawled my name across;) Three nights in a row we brought the noise, and all three nights the Gulf Coast obliged us by participating in the debaucherous festivities…

In other words, we pretty much partied for 4 nights straight down in “God’s Country” and all we have to say is, let’s do it again!!!

We head back to the Hard Rock on Wed May 28th, and we should have some new Thunder’s shows on the books again soon. But untill then we still have a hell of a roadtrip to North Carolina/Georgia and another Spring tour up to see the fine folks living in the shadow of Mt. Rushmore and all parts between.

Looks like Spring is shaping up to be a blur of beers, bars and mile markers here in the HDT camp… sweet!!!

Well, it appears that Beer Bands and Bingo was a smashing success, so much so, we’ve been added to the bill there tomorrow night. That’s right HDT will be joining forces for the first time ever with Lock 13 to destroy the Firenze stage a second time this week. It’s time again for Birmingham’s favorite Wedensday night tradition. That’s right it’s Beer Bands and Bingo at Cafe Firenze, and this time HDT is gonna be on hand to provide the Bands part of the evening!!! We’re bringing all your favorite HalfDown Thomas tunes as well as all your favorite Cover’s. And the best part? It’s free!!! If you haven’t experienced an HDTBBB then you really owe it to yourself to be there. The Holiday rush is right around the corner, and who knows, it might be your last chance for a little “me” time before 2007 rolls out, so come party with us!!! It’s gonna be a hell of a show:)

Well, looks like “New” is the operative word around here.
